父亲给我一份深沉的爱。从小至今父亲要我努力学习，不管做事都得，将来。但父亲决那种为”望女成凤“而采用不的教育方法。从我懂事，父亲一直温和地同我讲道理，我把他惹火了，他就会大声地批评我，有时甚至会打我，他发起或来，像一只蛮横无理的老虎。他常对我说：”小时候家里穷，我小学没毕业就退学了，现在年纪大了总结经验输就输在没文化上。现在条件好了些，你可好好学习呀!“父亲的话一直刻在我的心里。每当我偷懒的时候，父亲的话就浮现在脑海里鞭策着我。我就会默默地说：”徐欢呀，徐欢你不努力学习对得起你的父亲?对得起你吗?于是我又振作精神学习。

从小我们兄妹六人就很惧怕父亲，在我们的记忆中父亲从不苟言笑，从他口里说出的话都是掷地有声的，只有在交代我们去办理事情的时候，才是说话最多的时候，这时他会把整个事情的来龙去脉，如何去办理，怎么样才能使事情办得最圆满而交代得一清二楚，并且回来后要仔仔细细向他汇报，在这其中如果有一环节不尽如他意，他觉着有纰漏，有瑕疵他都会义正言辞的批评我们，态度的严肃令我们心惊胆战。
在我们心里父亲是严厉的，是缺乏慈爱的，在父亲那里是不会得到任何温暖的。可是有件事情却让我改变了对父亲的看法。
那时候，国家还没有实行联产承包责任制，土地还是集体耕种，通讯设备也很匮乏，村上如果有事情需要各小队长开会，只能靠父亲前一天写好通知，然后由我交给老师，再由老师交给居住在各个小队的同学，他们放学回去后交给各小队长。有一天，父亲又将写好的通知交给了我，并且再三嘱咐我说这次会议很重要，千万不能出现任何差错。我也承诺一定会把事情办好，可是到了学校正好学校有活动，我就把这件事忘得一干二净，并且还把通知弄丢了。第二天晚上兴高采烈的放学回家，母亲一把拉住我说，你爸给你的通知你交给老师了吗?此时此刻我的脑子就感觉轰的一下，当时就吓傻了，我哆哆嗦嗦的说，我忘了，母亲说，你爸刚才回来了，母亲问中午怎么没回家吃饭，父亲说，闺女一定把通知忘记给老师了，今天一个来开会的人都没有，由于事情比较紧急父亲只好亲自一个小队一个小队的去传达，当时又没有自行车，父亲就是步行，走了九个屯，往返加起来要走30多里路，中午连饭都没顾得上吃。母亲说你就等着挨训吧(父亲一生说话从来没有一个脏字，但是训人的话也很难让人接受)，当时我腿肚子都转筋了，仿佛心都要跳出来一样。一直跟在母亲身后问怎么办?怎么办?母亲说先吃饭吧，等你爸回来再说。可是我哪还有心情吃饭呢，饭菜端上来的时候父亲回来了，一见到父亲我是手也不知道放哪里，眼睛也不知往哪看，更不用说吃饭了，就等着挨父亲的训斥呢。可这时父亲一反常态，不但什么也没说，还主动招呼我吃饭，并且还亲自给我拿碗筷说：“赶紧吃饭，吃完饭村里还有电影呢”。个时候，我的眼泪如倾盆大雨喷薄而出，嘴里不住的说：“爸，我错了，我把通知忘记给老师了，你打我吧”。这时父亲拉住我的手，非常和蔼的对我说：“别哭了，好好吃饭，事情都过去了，今后记住就好，以后无论做什么事都要认真负责，否则一定会有酿大错、吃大亏的时候”。
听着父亲的话语，抬头看看父亲，父亲的眼睛里闪现出慈爱而又疼爱的目光，我的心才一下子落了地。从那时起，我就暗下决心，今后一定要做一个有责任感的人。那顿饭是我心情最愉悦，也是吃的最香的一顿饭，因为一直有一股暖流在我的心中流动。后来母亲问父亲为什么没有训斥我，父亲说，我太小，又是吃饭的`时候，怕我带着情绪吃饭会影响我的健康，怕我心思太重憋屈睡觉会得什么病。父亲说：“他已经从我的眼神和表情里看到我已经意识到了自己所犯的错误，这已经就足够了，他相信我不会再犯这样的错误”。
父亲经常告诫我们，人无完人金无足赤。人不怕犯错误，怕的是知错不改，人的一生会犯无数次错误，但坚决不可以犯相同的错误。
这就是严厉背后不乏慈爱的父亲。
