I first realised I wanted to study Psychology when studying Drama,becausein order to portray characters I had to understand their mind and developtheirpersonality. I found the differences in characters were so vast that itmade mewant to understand these variations. Since beginning the course inCollege Ihave been truly captivated by all areas of psychological theory andresearch,and am eager to contribute to the understanding we have about thebehaviour ofhuman and non-human animals. In particular, I am fascinated by thefundamentaldebates in Psychology, for e-ample the nature nurture debate. AForensic andInvestigative Psychology conference I attended, presented byProfessor DavidCanter, caught my attention as I found it intriguing that peoplecan behave insuch a way that will offend others and often feel little or noremorse. Afterreading his book, "Mapping Murder", my interest in abnormalityandpsychopathology rapidly increased, as his book and conference allowed metounderstand the psychology behind this type of behaviour, amplifying myinterestin the subject. I enjoy reading about different studies that have beenconductedin the past, which I can analyse and evaluate to obtain a moreadvancedunderstanding of behaviours e-hibited.
As a peer mentor, my job was to attend to the needs of younger ormorevulnerable students and to offer them full support. This job requirespatienceand compassion, along with willingness to help and motivate others. Ihavereceived certificates and awards for good behaviour, attendance, punctualityandperforming arts, demonstrating my enthusiasm in everything I do. Myworke-perience in the retail industry has given me the chance to developcriticalskills which are essential such as; good communication with others, astrongdetermination to achieve my best and dedication to all work I undertake.As anA2 Psychology student, I received the Student of the Month award formyoutstanding enthusiasm, effort and achievement. Drama & Theatre Studieshasgiven me an alternative perception of human behaviour, the intensity ofemotionsand the variations inherent in that. Music Technology has helped medevelop myanalytical and concentration skills. I am also a member of the StudentCouncil,where I represent my fellow students and have a great responsibility toensurethat their views are heard and acted upon.
I enjoy reading a range of books from novels to biographies as well asbooksto support my academic studies. Currently I am reading "The Selfish Gene"byRichard Dawkins to support my understanding of Evolutionary Psychology. Ifind itfascinating that natural and se-ual selection can provide ultimatee-planationsfor the behaviour of animals, including humans. I also enjoysports, such asswimming, cricket, tennis and hockey, resulting in mycompetitive nature anddesire to succeed. I have had a variety of part time jobsin which I have had towork with the public and satisfy their needs whilstworking under pressure tocomplete assorted tasks. Although I am looking forwardto going to university, Ihave decided to take a gap year and hopefully attendCamp America, where I wouldwork with young people as a Counsellor, ensuringtheir health and safety, andkeeping them entertained. My role will depend on myability to have strongauthority but also an approachable manner at all timesand I am confident I cancarry out the role with the utmost professionalism. Iam eager to studyPsychology in as much depth as possible, and I intend topractise a career in thefields I am particularly interested in - Clinical andPathological Psychology. 3、是否属于某协会成员

3、学校会电话面试或委托其代理给你面试。(请注意，你必须实事求是地参加面试，不可以欺骗学校，大多数正规的学校都会有第二次英文测试。否则，即使你到了瑞士的学校，学校会因为你的语言不过关让你回国的。
4、面试合格会寄给你临时入学通知书，可以凭这个通知书办理因私护照。
